The Elcometer Marine Inspection Kits have been designed to meet all the inspection requirements as specified in the IMO PSPC for Salt Water Ballast Tanks - Resolutions MSC.215(82) and MSC.215(84) - and include the new Elcometer 456 with integrated 90/10 rule as required in the IMO regulation.

Elcometer YKitMarine - 1S 

The Elcometer YKitMarine-1S contains a series of instruments for the inspection of Surface Profile, Surface Cleanliness, Dust, Welds, Climatic Conditions, Wet Film Thickness and Dry Film Thickness. The Kit also contains Pictoral Surface Standards for Surface Cleanliness.

The Dry Film Thickness Gauge supplied in this kit is Ferrous only and has memory for datalogging and download to PC. The Surface Profile Gauge and Climatic Condition Gauge in this kit are Standard models with no memory capacity or datalogging functionality.

Elcometer YKitMarine - 2S

The Elcometer YKitMarine-2S contains a series of instruments for the inspection of Surface Profile, Surface Cleanliness, Dust, Welds, Climatic Conditions, Wet Film Thickness, Dry Film Thickness and Adhesion. The kit also contains Pictoral Surface Standards dor Surface Cleanliness. 

The Dry Film Thickness Gauge supplied in this kit can measure on both Ferrous and Non-Ferrous substrates; it has memory for datalogging and downloads to PC. The Surface Profile Gauge and Climatic Condition Gauge in this kit are Standard models with no memory capacity or datalogging functionality.
